Love You Forever Project

The Love You Forever Project started in October 2015 as an idea I couldn't shake. It is inspired by my sister who lost both her precious son & amazing daughter within 10 months. Until we were personally affected, I didn't know much about stillbirth & infant loss.

I had the dream to create a tee with something simple that could work for both parents who have taken children home from the hospital & those who have not. When I mentioned it to my sister she suggested "Love You Forever" from the children's classic story by Robert Munsch, which was inspired by the loss of his own twin boys.

I approached local Winnipeg artist Kal Barteski, who enthusiastically agreed to provide her incredible script art for the project. She shared that she and her children read 'Love you Forever' every night.

This tee was created for every person who has loved a child. Whether it was just 2 lines on a pregnancy test, whether it was before 40 weeks, whether they took them home from the hospital or not, whether they hold them in their arms, or only in their heart.

We hope to, in some small way, bring awareness to the issue of stillbirth & infant loss. To the army of warrior parents, grandparents & family members, who have lost their precious children - I hope it will start conversation, acknowledge stories, and inspire.

Profits from the sale of the LOVE YOU FOREVER tees and onesies will be donated to Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, a non-profit organization that provides remembrance photography for parents suffering the loss of a baby. The photography is provided by volunteer photographers in each community. For more information visit here.
